Sergey Skudaev earned his Masters degree in Biology from the Irkusk State University (Russia) in 1974. Since 1974, he performed research in neurophysiology and neuropsychology at the same University, combining his scientific activity with the teaching of students. His scientific mentors were professor of The Irkutsk University L.N.Mogilev, professor of the Moscow Brain Institute N.N.Lubimov and professor of the Moscow Institute of Neurophysiology and Higher Nervous Activity N.S.Kositsyn.

Since 1991, Sergey Skudaev lives in USA and he is currently working in the medical information technology field. He is still interested in biology and medicine and continuously updating his knowledge in these areas.

In 2007 he created his web site www.healthstairs.com where he published his review of scientific articles and other educational material.
